Welcome to the neighborhood.

Hey there, we’re checking out Magnolia at Bishop Arts, over in the Bishop Arts district in West Dallas. We’re going to take a look at the property and amenities, but first, we’re going to explore the neighborhood. Let’s go!

Magnolia at Bishop Arts is nestled right in the center of the most well-known neighborhood in Dallas. Bishop Arts is packed with urban eateries and boutique retailers!

Just a quick walk down the street is Lockhart Smokehouse – a Texas-style counter-serve joint with fantastic BBQ and local beers. I also peeked into the Bishop Street Market- an imaginative gift shop with cute greeting cards, local artwork, candles, and house decor. Highly popular, Oddfellows is a rustic-hip coffeehouse & American diner that offers a comfy mix of southern food & home-brewed coffee. Eno’s Pizza Tavern is a popular spot for gourmet thin-crust pizzas, pastas and microbrews. There’s even a local Froyo joint down the street to pick up a cup of deliciously flavored frozen yogurt for dessert. There’s also Dallas Grilled Cheese, Stock & Barrel, Gloria’s, and C Señor Sandwiches to choose from as well!

Members Only is a classic men’s barbershop with urban cuts and an old-fashioned atmosphere. Just a few steps away, Bishop Arts Crossfit is an industrial styled facility designed for high-intensity workouts and is the ideal place to get anyone in fantastic shape. Simply Austin Furniture is an open-air furniture store with a wide selection of styles – the perfect place to pick out a few pieces for your Magnolia apartment. Dirt Flowers was another unique store I discovered that specialized in floral design. Submerged in a dimly-lit and earthy atmosphere, this place is perfect to pick up a plant or floral arrangement to decorate your apartment. I loved their selection so much I even bought something while I was there! There’s also Fête-ish, a boutique art gallery and gift shop that offers funky and fun home decor, greeting cards, and assorted knick-knacks.

Emporium Pies, a homey cottage off Bishop, offers signature sweets and desserts. Just around the corner you will find the Wild Detectives, an indie bookstore and coffee bar that offers a variety of titles to read from, and records to browse. An instant favorite I discovered was Dude Sweet Chocolate – a local chocolatier with mouth-watering flavor combinations, and dark chocolate treats. They even let me sample a few pieces and they were so good!

Magnolia at Bishop Arts is a luxury apartment community in the heart of North Oak Cliff. The two adjacent properties total to 38 units. Both polished with high-end finishes. The living room and kitchen areas are outfitted with luxurious appliances and has the amenities anyone would need or want – there’s even a wine chiller in the kitchen! With few apartments to rent in the area, Magnolia chose this lot perfectly situated next to shops and restaurants.

Magnolia at Bishop Arts is the perfect home in the heart of Dallas’ most artistic & extensive neighborhood. It was even featured in D Magazine as the most desirable place to build a home with an urban lifestyle in the flourishing sector of the Bishop Arts District. Who could ask for more in this beautiful place full of comfort and luxury.
